Will it fit?

Espresso machines are bigger than they look — and cupboards are lower than you think. Enter the space you have and see which machines actually fit, from real spec-sheet dimensions.

Leave a field empty to ignore it. Tip: measure to the underside of your cupboards, and remember you need a few cm above the machine to refill the water tank — most tanks fill from the top.

Frequently asked questions

How much space do I need for an espresso machine?

Compact single boilers start around 20–25 cm wide, prosumer dual boilers are typically 30–40 cm wide and 40–45 cm deep. Add a few centimetres above the machine for refilling the water tank, and leave room next to it for a grinder.

How tall is an espresso machine with a cupboard above the counter?

Standard clearance between counter and upper cabinets is 45–60 cm. Most home machines are 35–45 cm tall, but you need extra height to lift the tank lid — check the height filter here against your real measurement.

Do these dimensions include the portafilter?

They are the manufacturer's published body dimensions. A portafilter handle sticking out at the front can add a few centimetres of practical depth.
